On Great Saturday, on the eve of the Bright Resurrection of Christ, at 11:30 p.m., the Midnight Office (Polunochnitsa) with the chanting of the canon of Great Saturday was celebrated. The service was led by the rector of the parish, Archpriest Vadim Zakrevsky.
At midnight, the Paschal Matins in honor of the Bright Resurrection of Christ was celebrated with a significant gathering of parishioners. The service took place in a solemn and joyful atmosphere.
At the conclusion of the service, the rector blessed kulich, eggs, and творожные paskhas.
Then, through the efforts of Matushka Natalia and Father Vadim, a festive meal took place in the lower hall. The spiritual and bodily nourishment, as always, was abundant and diverse. The meal also took place in a warm, almost homelike atmosphere.
