Dear brothers and sisters in Christ,
On Sunday, 27 September, on the Feast of the Exaltation of the Precious and Life-Giving Cross of the Lord, one of the Twelve Great Feasts of the Orthodox Church, the Divine Liturgy will be celebrated in our parish church.
This feast day holds a special significance for our parish and for its rector, Archpriest Vadim Zakrevsky. These days mark a significant milestone — the 35th anniversary of Father Vadim’s pastoral ministry.
Only recently, when congratulating our rector on his birthday, we recalled this important milestone in his life and priestly ministry. Thirty-five years of pastoral service are years of prayer and the celebration of the divine services, of spiritual care for the faithful, and of joys and trials inseparably bound with service to God and to the Church of Christ.
On this significant day, Father Vadim invites all parishioners to gather together for the Divine Liturgy, to share in the joy of the festal service and in our common prayer.
We shall be very glad to welcome you all to our church so that, on the great Feast of the Exaltation of the Precious and Life-Giving Cross of the Lord, we may pray together as one community and share with our rector this special day — the 35th anniversary of his pastoral ministry.
